Now I saw this on TV a while back and knew straightaway that I wanted to make it so I searched and searched for the recipe in the end I couldn’t find one. So I made it up. I used a basic cheesecake recipe and added my little chocolate bits.
It doesn’t matter how we got to the end result. Just the fact that the end result is amazing! It is so lovely, you can’t have lots of it though as it is rich, but still it is lovely! More

So Saturday I used my slow cooker again and this time convinced Mr L that we had to buy a bigger slow cooker, due to not being able to fit the potatoes in with the recipe. I have to say I was really surprised that he agreed to it so easily, thought that there would be more of a fight but he was happy to get another one. He can see the benefits of having a slow cooker now that we have used it successfully a couple of times.
This time we made beef stew and it was lovely. I adapted a recipe that I had seen for slow cooker stew and I am glad that I did, it was really nice. More

So today for the first time ever, I got out the slow cooker that my sister gave me and we tried it out.
I had no clue what to do with it, so of course I chose the place where everyone knows the answer to everything, Twitter. I vaguely remembered that The Moiderer had some slow cooker recipes on her blog, so I tweeted her and I was right. She told me to click on the picture of the slow cooker to get some recipes. So off I trotted and there are some lovely recipes on there. Lots that I want to try. More

Today Baba and I spent the afternoon with my mum and my sister’s little boy and my dad. But he was in and out!
My nephew loves to make cakes, it is one of his favourite past times and something that he remembers he does with Nanny every time he comes to stay. Although today it was done with a difference.
Today it included Baba. More
