Our dog Tito is a strange dog!

He is very particular about his ways, and sometimes I swear we live in the wrong country for him.

He loves it when the weather is like this and it’s the summer!

Fleas, Baths and Huffs!

The dog got fleas, even though we had a flea collar on him and he had his flea stuff on he still got fleas.

Getting fleas is a nightmare in our house as the dog does not like to be bathed. So today he was restricted to the hallway only and outside, until Mr L came home, as I am not strong enough to give him a bath.

I went off to the shops, brought a new flea collar, some flea shampoo, and some flea shake and vac and we waited for Mr L. Once he got in the bath started. I could hear the dog trying to get out and Mr L repeatedly telling him to sit down and not to move. He brushed him in the bath and then he got the flea comb, which is very similar to a nit comb and put that through all of his fur, pulling out all the stray bits on the side. He shouted when they were finished.

What A Boy!

Baba has never ceased in amazing me, and the past week has been no different!

He is twenty-one months old now, and is a proper boy! He loves all things vehicle related, he is obsessed with trains, planes, tractors, cars, vans, trucks, boats, buses and bikes. Going out is an adventure I can tell you, we are told every time he sees one of these on our journey. It can take a while. He waves to every bus that passes and practically shouts when he sees any of the above!

He loves animals, and gets so excited about Tito, JoJo and Stewie it is usually what gets him to come home when we are out. He helps us feed Tito daily, he helps us feed the rabbits, he sits completely still with a towel over his lap so that he can hold the rabbits. Although he does scream a lot, but he is trying to be quiet bless him.

Reality Check

Yesterday I had to take Tito to the vets, he got stung on his right pad and also has a skin infection between his paws. So he is constantly licking and licking his paw at the moment, he had to have a couple of injections to get the sting and the itchiness to stop. He was fine all be it a little grumpy in the evening.

Today he has woke up and he is walking fine, and seems to be much better. So all is good in the world of our beagle again.

I Hate It Hate It!

I know that I shouldn’t, that I should be grateful for such lovely weather but I hate it. I hate it so much!

I love to look at the sun, but that is where it stops. Baba and I are both strawberry blondes, with really fair skin and I am full of freckles. Which I am sure Baba will be too, he just has not yet got them. But because of our skin I am constantly stressed about him wearing suncream, and a sun hat. The whole of my family and Mr L’s family laugh at me but I am so concerned about him getting burnt that I can’t help it.

Just Blah!

I have so many things that I want to do and so many things that I want to write. But the words and the motivation to move just don’t seem to want to come out.

I am stuck!

I want to do the office sort the paperwork! Take photos, and walk, walk the dog, and generally be free. I want to write I have so many things to write about, CyberMummy, yes I am going, woo hoo!!! Father’s Day, Hayling Island, and all the great things that Baba has started to do! I want to knit, I want to scrapbook, I want to sleep. I want to watch movies, I want to spend time with Mr L I just want to be and relax!

But nothing is happening, and nothing is getting done. I just feel pants.

Doggy Misbehaving!

Our dog has recently been a really good dog!

We have got into a routine with walking and he no longer is pulling on the lead, well not as much as he used too! He sits and waits at the road, and doesn’t move until he is told to, so at last he is like a normal dog. A dog that behaves, and he is a clever dog, it only took him a week to get trained to only go to the toilet down one end of the garden. We were all so impressed with him, as we have had issues with T to say the least, he has always had a devil streak in him, just for naughtiness. He would be the cheeky chap at the front of the class that is for sure. But we really felt that we were getting somewhere with him.

101 Things in 1001 Ten Things Done

Well haven’t I been busy and I didn’t even realise.

I have completed 10 yes that is right 10 of my 101 things to do in 1001 days, and I didn’t even realise. I am so happy. I am sitting here with a big grin on my face. How smug do I feel right now. Ha ha!!

So what have I done?

Real Life

Real life has taken over at the moment in our household!

I have so much that I want to write about on the blog, but at the moment I just have not had time. But I will, the light is opening at the end of the tunnel and the mayhem has nearly finished!

So what has been happening that has made me be so busy?
