Creativity Baba’s Way

Creativity doesn’t have to be planned, it doesn’t have to be difficult.

It doesn’t even have to be led by Mummy.

Yesterday Baba was playing with his aquadraw, he then came and asked for some water in a cup!

Halloween

Obviously today was Halloween, but it was the first one in our house to be celebrated.

We usually hide out for Halloween I have to say, neither Mr L or myself being that bothered, but today we made an effort for Baba!

We went down to my sisters and he had a Halloween party with them. This was basically a little tea, with fingered rolls, blood filled eggs, and worm jelly! Which was a massive hit.

The children then carved a pumpkin,

Today I made roast dinner, nothing special something that I do regularly in our house, it was chicken still not special. In fact it was;

Chicken.

Roasted Potatoes.

Roasted Parsnips.

Roasted Carrots, roasted with garlic cloves, and an orange cut in half and squeezed over them!

Yorkshire Puddings.

Peas.

Bread Sauce .

Gravy.

Really nothing special.

Messy Play Can Be Fun!

Don’t you just love that feeling off squelching between your fingers and toes.

Making such a mess and no one caring.

Everyone getting involved, laughing and giggling.

Running from the mess but really running to the mess.

It is such fun to be had

Is the creation you make at the end of it!

Chasing I want…

I am always chasing things at the moment. I have a point where I want things to be but never seem to get there, just constantly chasing it! It is driving me mad!

1) I want the house tidy! I mean tidy, really tidy. I want the kitchen sorted, the office clean that would be a lovely thing.

2) I want the ironing done, we have so much we can’t actually tidy our bedroom as there is too much ironing!

3) I want all the washing done.

Farm Time

Yesterday we went off to a working farm near my sister it was part of Baba’s birthday treat. We went with my sister and brother-in-law and my niece and nephew, my mum and dad, my cousin, her husband and their two children and my friend, her husband and their baby.

It was a fantastic day, it was sunny all day and the kids absolutely loved it. We arrived at 11 and didn’t leave till 5pm so the kids had a great day out. We had a picnic while we were there, and I think that everyone enjoyed it.

Baba especially enjoyed it, he got to feed some goats.

Here Comes The Two Year Old!

You woke, so happy and full of fun

Every present you got you said Wow

And loved opening them all

You played with everything and the house was filled with laughter

Water Play!

There is nothing better than having a laugh with Baba. He has a wicked sense of humour and really makes me giggle till my stomach hurts at times.

When we did our painting last week, I knew within a few minutes that he was not going to want to leave it alone. He wanted to carry on and on so I had to bribe him with a biscuit to get him to stop. However before he could have the biscuit he had to wash his hands!

Pets!

We have had a great day today, just being in the garden and Baba has been playing with Tito and JoJo and Stewie.

He just loves being around animals, it is a real passion for him. After our holiday we are going to buy him some fish, Mr L does not yet know but we are. We have  a tank and now that I have found a place for it in the kitchen where you can see it all day everyday, we are going to get some!

Airplanes, Fun and Aeroplanes!

Baba loves airplanes always have they are a little obsession of his. Although he calls them “aeroplanes.” Whenever one flies overhead, he shouts and rushes out to the garden to try to see it. It brings him great joy and he never ever bores of it.

So when his grandparents saw that the Eastbourne Air Show was on the other weekend they wanted to take him, so we said we would go too. What a treat we were in for!
