Today I needed to work, with Baba being poorly and myself getting the dreaded bug, I haven’t worked for over two weeks, and we have a lot on. There is a lot that needs to be done over these next couple of weeks so I really really stressed this to Mr L.
That I needed to work he had to have Baba. More

There is a clown who lives in my house,
He loves attention all day long
And generally has everyone around him in stitches
You can never be mad or sad for long
Because already at the age of two
He knows to get rid of bad feeling by being just outrageously funny More

We had a party yesterday and I think that Baba has now become one with nature.
In the past he has always been a bit nervous about things outside. It has taken him nearly two years to walk on grass without shoes, that’s a lie to walk on grass with shoes was a problem at first. But he has overcome them both now! He has suddenly become a child that loves being outside.
He has taken a liking to bugs, and all animals in general really. So he just loves the outdoors, and it is nice. I know that I am a bit neurotic when it comes to sun and cream and hats, maybe I was the reason he hated outdoors so much. But I can’t help it as we both have very fair skin and a lot of red in our hair, so I am going to be cautious. But apart from that I do like to be outside. I like walking I find it very therapeutic it is the time I come up with my best ideas! It seems that Baba may be the same. More

Baba has never ceased in amazing me, and the past week has been no different!
He is twenty-one months old now, and is a proper boy! He loves all things vehicle related, he is obsessed with trains, planes, tractors, cars, vans, trucks, boats, buses and bikes. Going out is an adventure I can tell you, we are told every time he sees one of these on our journey. It can take a while. He waves to every bus that passes and practically shouts when he sees any of the above!
He loves animals, and gets so excited about Tito, JoJo and Stewie it is usually what gets him to come home when we are out. He helps us feed Tito daily, he helps us feed the rabbits, he sits completely still with a towel over his lap so that he can hold the rabbits. Although he does scream a lot, but he is trying to be quiet bless him. More

I have had an unusual weekend! Unusual in the fact that I have seen my friends, and that Baba has been away!
I have to admit since having Baba 18 months ago I have been bad at meeting my friends, oh I see them with Baba but actually seeing them for a good girlie chat to moan about our other halves talk about how great they are, hasn’t really happened. I know you can do that to a degree with the children there, but they are all getting a bit older now, and they take stuff in so we try to be positive about their daddies now! More

Josie over at Sleep is for the Weak wrote a post today about what her child has taught her and how responding to his personality and needs has changed her. This post really made me think about how having Baba has changed my life.
When Baba was born, Mr L and I had a conversation about whether we loved each other differently, both of us said that we did love each other in a different way. It was a deeper love than the one we had before. But that was only the beginning of how Baba has changed me. More

Baba was at Nannies today as it was a work day for Mummy. He bowled in to her house at lunch time, (as we got a few extra hours today on our own) chatting away to his granddad. He was so at peace that when I said goodbye to him, he turned around and just waved, I don’t think he even noticed that I had gone, as he was back playing with his garage straight away.
Today when I went to collect him he did a succession of things that I was very impressed with, I don’t know whether he just preforms at Nannies, or whether he has done these before in front of her, but to me they were new. More

We got our confirmation today for our Sun holiday, to Wales. We are going for a long weekend and I can’t wait.
Now I know it is not the most fantastic holiday in the world, but it is our first family holiday and I am so looking forward to it. We are off to a caravan park and it brings back lots of happy memories of my childhood holidays. More

I spent a whole day today with Baba, my Mum, Sister, Niece and Nephew, (and Dad for a while) then Mr L came home and then my Best Mate came round. So all in all I have spent the last 18 hours with all the people who mean the most to me. It has been lovely and it has made everything all the more clearer.
I have got really stressed as of late, with work, not meeting the goals that I have set, and just bits and bobs really. Things that if they where isolated incidents wouldn’t be a problem but due to them all arising at the same time, they have meant a bit of disaster has occurd in the L household. More
