Josie over at Sleep is for the Weak wrote a post today about what her child has taught her and how responding to his personality and needs has changed her. This post really made me think about how having Baba has changed my life.
When Baba was born, Mr L and I had a conversation about whether we loved each other differently, both of us said that we did love each other in a different way. It was a deeper love than the one we had before. But that was only the beginning of how Baba has changed me. More

It’s my second mother’s day tomorrow.
For all of Mr L’s great things, mother’s day is not one of them. He is rubbish when it comes to getting things for mother’s day, and I do not just mean for me. He is rubbish for his own mother as well. I have to do all the present giving at mother’s day and have done the whole time that we have been together. More

Valentine’s day… well what can I say!
We decided this year that we wouldn’t be doing anything for valentine’s day, as five years in to our relationship I don’t think either one of us was that bothered.
Mr L did give me a card in 2006 dated until 2010 so he had already covered himself!! More

I spent a whole day today with Baba, my Mum, Sister, Niece and Nephew, (and Dad for a while) then Mr L came home and then my Best Mate came round. So all in all I have spent the last 18 hours with all the people who mean the most to me. It has been lovely and it has made everything all the more clearer.
I have got really stressed as of late, with work, not meeting the goals that I have set, and just bits and bobs really. Things that if they where isolated incidents wouldn’t be a problem but due to them all arising at the same time, they have meant a bit of disaster has occurd in the L household. More

Today has been my birthday, and I have had a lovely day. Got spoilt as per usual, with lots of chocolate and had a nice meal with my parents, Mr L and Baba.
I can’t believe that I am in my last year of my 20′s oh that sounds scary and with a one year nearly 18 month old baby! I remember when I was at school I wrote a list of things that I wanted to do by the age of 30! I found it the other day and this is how it pans out; More

Sleep for the Weak has posted the weekly workshop and I have chosen to do this prompt:
1. Write something to say thank you to some who has made a difference to your life, whether from your past or present.
- Inspired by the Moiderer’s ‘People I’d like to thank‘
When I first saw this I could have written a thousand thank you’s, but then I narrowed them down to just a few.
Firstly it would have to be my parents, More

I have again been reading a lot of blogs over the last few days and one of them really caught my eye – By Slugs on the Refrigerator. This blog really made me think about why I have actually choose to write a blog. Is it all for me or is it for other people and what is my aim for it?
The first thought that came into my head, was that I was writing my blog as I want to be a writer one day. I have always dreamed of being a writer, and I am doing my writing course so I wanted a place to put my thoughts down and practice my writing skills. But then I started thinking again and wondered if this was actually true. Yes I do want to do these things but is writing the blog, really as simple as that. I don’t believe that it is. More
