#donotfeed Super Skinny Me Updated

Do Not FeedIf you have been following my post you will know that I have been trying to lose weight, dismally.

I have got three stone to lose so a good 40lbs to lose to get down to the weight that I was before I fell pregnant with Baba.

I have tried all the clubs, I have done weight watchers in the past, slimming world, detoxing etc. I have so many diet books in my house it is stupid, I do them all for a while and then I either get fed up with paying the fee to go and get weighed to lose my weight. Or I get behind with what I am doing that it all goes wrong, and I stop doing it.

I have used every excuse in the book, as too why I can not lose the weight. I know that I use them and I know that this has to stop. I have a little man running around upstairs and I and Mr L actually, have to lose all this weight for our own health and Baba’s sake.

So Nikkii over at Clinically Fed Up and I are going to do this journey together with the added bonus of Twitter and the hashtag of #donotfeed. I think that encouragement can go a long way, so when in the dead of the day we are hearing that dairy milk speaking to us we can be encouraged to SAY NO by virtual support.

We are going to do a weekly weigh in on a Friday to gain a good old slap on the back for doing well, or to get the encouragement to carry on when it hasn’t gone that great. That is when you need another person doing it with you, those weeks that just don’t go so well.

Neither of us knows how the other is choosing to do this but I am sure that between us, we will be sharing tips, recipes, and exercises and giving each other things that we have not thought off before.

It all kicks off on Friday with our starting weight and measurements, and then we will see how we will get on from there. From now on all of my blogs that are about this will have #donotfeed attached to them so that if you do not to read you don’t have to, however if you want to join us for a virtual support aka virtual bitch – slapping for trying to eat that chocolate then please feel free.

If you want to read Nikkii blog about this then take a look here

I read this with a Strawberry Cream Chupa Chup in my gob! There’s never a “good” time to start a diet so it may as well be tomorrow 😉 I haven’t stepped on my Wii balance board for a few weeks now and I’m scared…. mostly of the meltdown I get from Paul after I switch it off… “I wanna play weefit NOW!” eh no son, you are 4, you weigh less then I have to lose, I can see yer ribs and that “thing” says you are obese!

Just kidding, I have a positive mindframe. And I will keep it so long as we don’t let Italy beat us on Saturday and I don’t overdo things at my mates Rugbeee Parteee.

Haha, that did make me laugh. I wrote it eating a milkyway yoghurt! I was hungry and as we are quarantined there isn’t much to eat in our house!

I haven’t stepped on my wii balance board for ages either so it will be a shock to the system I am sure. But it will be fine! I am sure!!!

Argh! – Fridays for me sort of run out at 11am – I have to take Paul swimming – my Mum comes – we end up spending the day together until it is appropriate to open a bottle of wine (or three).

I did however step on the Wii balance bard at 8am and the result are posted – I have LOTS to say about the results – but I’ve had half of three bottles of wine – meh!

Totally understand, mine are a little like that. I am currently waiting for my Wii balance board batteries to charge as unexpectedly got taken out by Mr L and it has been so long that I have been on it they have gone flat!!! But will post as soon as charged! x
