Mother’s Day

It’s my second mother’s day tomorrow.

For all of Mr L’s great things, mother’s day is not one of them. He is rubbish when it comes to getting things for mother’s day, and I do not just mean for me. He is rubbish for his own mother as well. I have to do all the present giving at mother’s day and have done the whole time that we have been together.

Last year for my first mother’s day I got a card that Mr L’s mum had written in and a lovely bouquet of flowers that Mr L’s dad had brought for him.

So this year I thought that I would keep mentioning that it was mother’s day to him.

“We have no money”

That was the only response that I got back from him, so I thought that was that. I wasn’t going to get anything this year.

Today we went shopping for his mothers present. So when we were in the shop I said to him that all I really wanted was a card from Baba that was all and I would be happy.

Mr L went off and I don’t know what he got, but I was no longer allowed to look in the trolley and was dashed off when we got to the checkout. I don’t know what I have but I have been told that I am not allowed to look at a pile of paperwork that is at the end of the kitchen table. So I think I have a card.

Believe me that impresses me.

Mr L hates cards.

So even though he is in bed, and I am sat in the room opposite the kitchen and can see the pile I am not supposed touch I am not going to touch it. I am going to leave Mr L to give me a surprise tomorrow.

How good am I?

well done you! It is also my second one and like you nothing at all happened for the first. But then again it was all very complicated. I have no expectations this year. Let’s see if it meets my expectations lol

Congratulations! it’s my 1st Mother’s day and I’m pretty excited for the whole thing. I don’t want to expect too much but i kinda starting to hate my self for being so excited.
