My Crafts

It is Writing Workshop time and I have chosen Prompt number 5 Tell us about something, or show us something that you do really, really well and are proud of.

I have never shown these to the world before so I am feeling a little apprehensive about this. But here goes.

I am creative, I have always been creative and it is when I am at my most happiest and my calmest when I am making something. I have always made things, but I came into my own a few years ago when I started scrapbooking, putting my photos into my own made albums. I love doing this and I do think I am quite good at it. Mr L thinks that I am very good at it and should start my own business, but that is a whole other blog post.

So I thought that I would put a few pictures up to show what I make. I hope that you like them and there are a few photos, so there isn’t much writing for my writing workshop this week. But here goes. (Feeling nervous now)

(C) 2010 And Then All I Thought About Was You

This is a name book, as you open it up there are pictures in off Baba each side of the pages, I wont show you all the pages individually, but there is an example of one page below. This is all had made and the pages have been inked to give them an outline.

The next pictures are of Journal Jars, these can be made for anything weddings, parties, life history, children, babies etc. This one is a baby one and is like a baby book, you can record all of their milestones in the jar.

(C) 2010 And Then All I Thought About Was You

There are little questions in the jar, when did you first sit etc and a book so you take out the pieces of paper stick them into a book and write what the baby did.

Here is a picture of the book and samples of the questions

I also make a box that you can put over 20 photos in and opens all up. Here are some photos to show you.

(C) And Then All I Thought About Was You

It is called an explosion box, because it opens up and there are so many layers, these are lovely and one of the things I am most proud off. Here is a picture of it opened up.

(C) 2010 And Then All I Thought About Was You

This is the box opened up. There are lots of different places for photos as there are three layers in the box.

So there you go some things that I am really good at, and am very proud off. I hope that you like them.

This post is for the writing workshop over at Sleep is for the Weak.

You really shouldn’t be nervous, they are fantastic. I wish I was as creative as you. Do you have your items in a craft fair, or on a craft site perhaps?

Thank you, I really am blushing over here with all the lovely comments.

No I don’t have them on craft sites, it is something that Mr L tells me to do regularly, but I have always been a bit nervous. I think I will have to look into a bit more maybe. xx

I have no talent whatsoever for crafts and am very impressed by this stuff! Yes, I agree with Mr L that you should start a business. 😉
