Having No Internet! Still There Are Pro’s And Cons

We still have no internet arghh! They have finally said that we should be going back on-line on the 13th of April. I am still having to go to friends and my MIL’s to check my emails, and write the blog. So we will see if we actually get the internet on the 13th.

But there are some good points about not having the internet though. Not very many but a few.

  1. I have read so much since I haven’t had the internet. I have already read one of my books in my two month time scale and still have a month to go since I haven’t had the internet so I am on my way to completing another of my 101 things to do.
  2. I am not sat at the computer all day, so I have been sorting the house out every evening, another item on my 101 things to do list. So I am getting on really well with my 101 things list. So there will be lots of posts about my 101 things when I get the internet back.
  3. I am speaking to my friends. Actually talking rather than virtually talking to them.
  4. Mr L is happy as the internet is off and the computer is not on every night.
  5. I am writing more, I am not concentrating on the blog, so more of my stories are being written and I have been studying my course more. Which is great as hopefully I will finish it quicker than I first thought. That is a huge bonus!

So there are a few things that are good things, about not having the internet.

But there are obviously a lot of negative things about not having the internet. The main thing is that I can’t talk to all of my virtual friends on twitter and have a good old chat with the other mummies when Baba is asleep in the day. I am also on limited time when I get on the internet so I am not able to read everything elses blogs at the moment. So here I am apologising to all the other people who have commented on my blog I am not ignoring your blogs, but I just don’t have the time to comment back at the moment. As soon as I get the internet back, I shall be reading and commenting on your blogs, as much as I used to.

But until then I will be a bit absent, but will try to keep blogging as much as I can. You know what they say though always look on the bright side of life and see the good things that are happening!

Yay for getting through your 101 things to do and more reading! 🙂 Sometimes I think I should turn the computer off for a bit, then I can’t do it!

I was without the internet for just under 2 days last week whilst I was on holiday and I managed to get more done in the house than the complete rest of my two weeks off!!

Really wish I had more self restraint when it comes to the internet… but I’m such an addict!
