It’s the Little Things

Since Baba has been better, I have been making a real effort to get him out of the house and do stuff with him. We have been doing ok. But I have noticed that other things have been suffering.

Now don’t get me wrong I love going out with Baba, but I do think that we seem to either do nothing, or do so much that nothing else ever gets done. Now I know that this will be my fault, as I am a bit like this, I go into something full steam ahead and then forget about other things along the way. But I can’t help it and I don’t really know how to stop doing it either. But I am going to try!

I have a few plans over the next few days to get things back into shape.

1) The house needs a bit of a clean up, there isn’t much to do as it is nearly sorted it just needs to be clean. I need to iron! I hate ironing, but I need to get a load of it done, once that is done the place will look better.

2) Mr L is sorting the garden so a few things that are in the house can finally go outside! So the house may not be so cluttered!

3) I need to take the dog out, regularly! He has really been suffering with the amount we take him out. We really need to work on this and get into a rhythm so he gets a good walk daily! Poor thing!

4) I really want to sort my writing space out this weekend. This is one thing that is at the back of my head and is bothering me. Yes I write here nearly everyday, sometimes more. I fill notebooks up daily, with things that I want to write about. But I don’t do my course, and don’t ever move these ideas on! They are always left in a notebook with scribbles all over it. I think I will be a lot happier if I start to do my writing course.

Hopefully these little niggles will be sorted over the next few days. As I really feel that my mood has changed due to things not being sorted at home, so I am hoping that if these things get sorted I will feel a lot better and be able to get things done.

How do you remain on top of things? Do you get to the point that I am where somethings have got to change a bit around here, so that things are in order again?

I just about get in to a routine and then something comes and kicks it all out of whack. I do prefer things to be a little organised though, so I will be working on it this weekend if I have the energy

Oh it is so nice to know that someone else is like me! And that I am not some weird control freak! I like a bit of organisation, it is the writing space that is the main thing, as at the moment I write when I do all over the house, and would prefer to have one space so that it isn’t everywhere!

Taking the dog out can occasionally be a chore in itself but always something that needs doing! I recently hired a cleaner to get on top of my house as I’m too lazy to do it myself. I need to get on top of my finances, see where it’s all going!

I wish we could hire a cleaner, I just think if I even mentioned it to Mr L he would say no, as I work from home he would not understand why I am not cleaning while working! I did manage to get the dog out today though, so that was a good thing, but the house is a mess, so I am going to have to tackle it over the next few days and get it sorted. Then I will feel happier hate coming home to a messy home! xx
