So this weekend I had a list, a list of things that I really wanted to get done over the weekend. Things that were going to make my life easier, the house look nicer and the working side of my life easier and happier. There weren’t many things on the list only four things, cleaning, gardening, dog walking and writing space. So all manageable things over a weekend.
Manageable if you don’t come down with a sickness bug on Friday night, that completely wipes you out for the whole of Saturday, to the point that you don’t even see you own child. Mr L took him out for the day, and then he went to stay at his Nanny and Grandad’s as I really didn’t want him to catch the bug! Then Sunday I was better, but very weak so we still didn’t get a lot done.
So instead of coming back after a weekend of work to tell you how lovely my house looks, how great the garden is and how I am now writing from my beautiful spot where the bureaux is now placed. I am writing about the fact that all of the list still needs to be done. But do you know what, there is now a load of ironing, and even more cleaning, and washing. As yes Mr L looked after Baba and very well I don’t doubt, but he does not clean! Oh no not at all!
So a little more to do than I thought there would be by now.
So instead of doing it I am on here, and tonight I am going to sleep I am still very tired. But tomorrow the bulk of it will be done. No I can’t do the garden, and I can’t lay the turf, but I can clean and I can tidy. Then on my part the thing that will be left will be the ironing.
So heres to the next two days. I have a feeling they are going to be busy!

Illness is so – GAH! I have no words – tis stopping me from living and I am VERY over it :s – and I don’t even have something major.
Am glad you are feeling better. Very. Take it very slowly. Bugs are nasty. And heres hoping your little one didn’t end up with it.

So do I, I just feel pretty drained that is all. You forget how much a bug takes out of you. We have pretty much done everything we can to try and stop Baba from getting it. Thanks for reading xx
