The Diet Begins

Now I have been harping on about my weight for ages, I was going to start the Mummy Tummy Begone and still do want to do it. However at the moment I have really painful knees and am back and forth to the doctors and hospital trying to find out what is wrong with them. So I don’t want to be adding pressure to them by trying to go for a run, even a walk is a problem some days.

So I decided diet had to be the way forward.

Last night I took the plunge and went off to Slimming World with Mr L’s sister. We are both sufferers of our mummy tummies, so hopefully going together will inspire us.

I have done slimming world before, soon after I had Baba and I lost quite a lot of weight, but the group lost its leader and dissolved so I stopped. I also found it hard as I was always going on my own. So I am hoping this time will be better, my cousin is also going so there should always be someone there that I know!

I shall be keeping you up to date on what my progress is, and I am really going to work at this. I have worked out my Club 10 target, which is where you lose 10% of your weight. That alone is 1 stone and 5 pounds to lose. That is my first target. Once I get there I will then set a target of my ideal weight. I know where I would like to be so lets see if I can get there!

So I am now off to make my fruit salad for my breakfast! Wish me luck, I hope I do well!

Good Luck! I’m sure you’ll do wonderfully and I’ve had friends who lost loads with Slimming World. 🙂

I used to do weight watchers and lost almost 3 stone after B was born, its difficult tho as none of the classes fit in with the times I can do etc. I keep saying I am going to do something but I find too many excuses!!! Good luck xx

I was like that but as my cousin and sister in law wanted to do it as well, I don’t have that excuse any more, Mr L is really helpful with looking after Baba as well so that helps. I think that I have had a good weekend with it, so hopefully looking at some weight loss this week!
