Today Baba got a badge, a nice big sticker that was of Thomas the Tank Engine as he was a very brave boy and I was a very proud mummy.
Baba went to the dentist for the first time today!
He was as good as gold!
Which for our family is amazing. Mr L doesn’t go to the dentist, hates it always has. I do go but I wouldn’t go on my own until I was nearly 13 years old. Before that I would scream the place down and both my mother and father would have to take me in. I know pathetic.
But we didn’t have any of that with Baba today.
He came in with me and sat in his pushchair while I had my teeth looked at. I had my teeth cleaned and he laughed, I thought that he would be scared of all the machines but not my child. Once I was finished the dentist went over to his pushchair and asked to look at his teeth.
Baba opened his mouth wide and let the dentist have a look. He even counted how many teeth Baba had!
Once he was finished Baba gave him the biggest cheesy grin that was full of teeth you had ever seen.
“Well he was easy, not like his mother used to be” was all the dentist had to say on the matter!
Happy dentist, happy boy, proud mummy.

Oh well done Baba! I’m ok with dentists until they say I have to have something done and then I freak! I need to get Oli signed up , am nervous of taking him for his first time – if you but fingers near his mouth he bites and he bites hard!
I’m pretty sure its because he’s been teething constantly for the last 6months!

Baba does bite us if we put our fingers in his mouth, but he didn’t seem to mind the dentist at all. Which I was surprised about so Oli may not bite, I am sure they are used to it though!

Yes I am and he is still walking around with his sticker on his jeans and saying “sicker” to anyone who sees him. Bless!
