Penguin Bowling

Saturday we were sent a great Penguin Bowling set from Hello Baby to review. The Infantino Penguin Bowling retails at £17.99 and includes 6 penguin pins with colourful numbered shirts and a plush bowling ball that jingles. It helps teach cause and effect and improve hand eye coordination and is for 6+months.

Baba was instantly attracted to this, he loved the colours and wanted the box straight away. Mr L and I were impressed as well. It was easy to get into and took no time at all to get all of the penguins out. It looked like it could be great fun and we weren’t disappointed.

Each penguin had its own individual things on it, some rattled, others had teething rings on them, one had a mirror on his belly and another had lots of ribbons on its hands. Baba thought that these were great, he decided to give each penguin a cuddle before he did anything else. They were very soft toys, Baba liked this he had 6 new cuddly toys as well as skittles! Bonus!

Once we showed him what he had to do, he quickly caught on and he played with them for a long time. He really loved the ball as it jingles as well. So that was a massive hit!

This was the first time that he knocked the skittles down with the ball!

Putting them back up again…

Baba played with these for ages, and then when his cousin came round the next day. It was the first thing that he wanted out to play. So I think they were a massive hit.

Our whole family liked the Infantino Penguin Bowling I don’t think I would have actually picked it personally but now that I have used it, I would buy it. Baba loves the bright colours, he loves the softness and the ball well that is a hit all on its own. The big thing that I really like about it is that he can easily stand up the penguins on his own which he can’t always do with other skittles and generally needs us to help him. So that means that he can independently play with this on his own, which is great for his age.
