The Gallery – Friendship

This weeks gallery theme is friendship.

I have written a lot about one of my best friends on here already. But I do have others I promise!

Friendship is a massively important thing to me. It is something that gets me through the good and bad times, and something that I value from the bottom of my heart.

Before you truly get to know me I can be quite shy and find it difficult to make new friends. The ones that I have I have had for many years and they mean a lot to me. They change regularly, life takes over, I don’t get to see some of them as much as I like and over the years we have all drifted apart and drifted back to being close again. It does not however mean that we are not friends. We are different now compared to when we were four, sixteen or twenty. All of our lives have changed dramatically.

But we are all there when we need to be. When we are sad, happy or just damn hurt and angry we pull together as one and that to me is what friends are all about.

I have many friends from different eras in my life, but every one of them is the same. If I really needed them they would be there and I want to thank them all for that.

Most importantly friends are the people you make your memories with, the people who know everything about you, the people who you trust with your future. Your children!
