Look What I did!

I am very proud, I know sad but proud still.

I have some home-grown food and this is a first for our household, we never usually get to this point. But today we have!

(C) 2010 And Then All I Thought About Was You

Look at our home-grown lettuce! I am now sitting with a smug look on my face!

As you all know this year we have been growing vegetables and for the first time ever they have actually grown. I don’t know whether it is because we have researched growing vegetables this time. Or because we have decided that our soil is not cut out for growing anything, so went down the route of growing our vegetables in pots. Whatever the reason it has worked!

Our lettuce is not the only thing that is growing, we have got tomatoes, carrots and onions that seem to be doing great, so as soon as I have got some I shall take some pictures to show you.

However the best thing is that they taste so good, the lettuce is lovely. There is something different about home-grown food I have decided, it makes you feel good eating it as you have put all the effort into growing it and I can’t wait to taste more!
