Something Is A Changing….

Something is changing in our house and I am not sure what?

Maybe it is the fact that Baba is now in pants! We decided to go for it, as he kept telling us when he needed his bottom changed, so we thought that we would try it and see how he goes with it. If it isn’t the right time then we can always stop and start again at a later date. But at the moment, he seems to be ok. He is having accidents, but he is having more successes on the potty than not. So we will keep going with it and see what happens, see how he goes.

He looks so cute in his little truck pants, running around the house. The excitement on his face when he has a wee on the potty is just amazing, I don’t think you can cap that excitement I wish that you could. So when you grow old and cynical you can just open it up and get a tiny bit to get you going again!

Or maybe it is the fact that Baba has had his first hair cut! I will blog more about this tomorrow, all I shall say at the moment is that he was a superstar. He sat still. He let his hair be cut and now he looks like a proper little boy! No more a baby!

Or maybe just maybe it is me!

(C) 2010 And Then All I Thought About Was You

I have finally got every room in the house sorted! Yeah for me, that even includes the office, I know that I had crossed off the organising the house category in my 101 things to do in 1001 days already! But now I have sorted the office and everything is filed away I feel so much better. I can now start to organise a few more things on my list, like paperwork and budgeting.

But more than anything I am feeling motivated. I don’t know whether it was my Gran dying or having really bad hay fever suddenly hit me but I seemed to have had a real lack of motivation in the last few weeks. Even relating to work. I have not done anything to do with Avon for a couple of weeks now, or my writing course. But something seems to have clicked today and I feel better.

I wrote a list of things that I wanted to do today.
1) Write article for Baby Budgeting (done, and it was sent off to Becky a while ago)
2) Iron (I have not completed the ironing, I still have two massive piles but I did a whole hour of ironing earlier while Baba slept)
3) Washing (clothes I have to say not me, I have washed! I have done four loads today, all are now dry, hence the ironing, and I have the last load to do tomorrow)
4) Sort out photos (I have started and will continue when I have finished this)

This is the first time in a long time that I have completed what is on my list, and it feels really good. The only thing that I haven’t done is walk the dog, but that will be done tomorrow. I promise you! The house is also spotless and I have done all of this while I have been potty training Baba and taking him for a hair cut.

I hope this new me lasts, I like this me. I have some great ideas that are rolling around in my head, and am raring to get back to work now. So watch this space great things are happening here. Long may it reign!
