Sleep Oh Wonderful Sleep

Yesterday we had our niece to stay, she is only six months old and it was the first time that she had been away from her Mummy and Daddy and she was a star!

However that isn’t what I am going to write about, it is the fact that she made us stop. Even if it was just for one night.

She made us just concentrate on us as a unit, and not be fragmented. We all had an evening together as we had to, both Mr L and I had to be around, as we were looking after Miss and Baba. We had no computer on, and hardly any TV. We were all in bed by nine thirty and it was fantastic.

We all woke up refreshed and raring to go this morning. I didn’t feel stressed and no longer felt my head was going to explode which was a massive improvement. I still have all the other stuff to do, but none of it seems as bad today. I have been calmer and more rational, and feel that I can get everything done before we go away.

It has really made me feel better, and more refreshed and if one night can do that I can not wait for a holiday. I shall be a different woman after that so I can not wait.

That’s amazing – feeling like a unit is actually really hard, and it’s great to have something to focus you.

    You’ll have a great holiday I’m sure!
