Birthday Presents and Cards

So yesterday was Mr L’s mums birthday and I had a task on my hands. After he walked around the shops on Saturday and decided that he didn’t like anything that was for sale he asked me to make her an album. Great if you generally have  a bit longer than 48 hours.

Even worse when those 48 hours are reduced to 24 hours,  because the Sunday you are supposed to be getting the photos, you forget to take the disc with the pictures on out with you!

So Monday morning the day of her birthday, we have no present and no pictures. A manic dash to Boots to get some pictures printed and a very obliging Baba who slept for a couple of hours and this was produced.

A Squash book that opens up to reveal…

One side that is all about Mr L and his mum, I found a great poem about bringing up sons that I wrote on this side.

On the other side…

(C) 2010 And Then All I Thought About Was You

A poem about Nannies. So it was a joint present from Son and Grandchild. I think for a couple of hours work it came out very well.

I even had time to make a couple of cards…
