Skeletons, Playdoh and Trains!

Baba was two on Sunday, did I mention that!

Well on Friday we had a bit of a party and he had a great time, this year we did fancy dress! Halloween of course as it is so close!

Baba dressed up as a skeleton!

I did try to do his face as a skeleton but he wouldn’t stand still for long enough so we got a white face and black eyes but I still think he looked very cute!

He had a great time and all of his friends had fun too. They just played and were two-year olds. He got some fabulous presents and loved every single one of them.

However Playdoh has made a massive comeback in our house since his little friend A brought him some for his birthday! At the party he was going round asking every one to open his “paydoh” and mean Mummy kept saying no! Well Daddy did not get away with it on Saturday. The “paydoh” had to be opened and Baba was in heaven he sat there for nearly two hours playing with it.

He loves rolling the playdoh, and making it into snakes and snails that is his favourite thing. But he pushes it and tries to cut things out of it as well.

He puts a lot of concentration into it, and gets very irate if you are not doing the right thing. He knows what he wants to do with it and you can not interrupt.

We have had the playdoh out every day this week. It is the first thing he asks for and usually the last thing he plays with before tea. As it is great I can cook and he is one place just playing right next too me perfect!

Although we have had a little break from the playdoh. Auntie C, Baba’s godmother and my best friend brought this…

Now I can’t complain as  Baba and I choose it with her, and I thought that he would love it. I was right. We have not had a day where we have not played with the trains since.

They have been put under the track, and Mummy and Daddy are shouted at because it is broken and it has to be fixed there and then!

He loves the trains sticking together, although it took a while to understand that they only go a certain way and he still doesn’t get it spot on but he is getting there!

He plans out where all the pieces are going and moves the animals and houses and men around regularly chatting to them all in his own way!

In the last week he has even started to put the pieces back together himself. It is a total hit. Along with all of the other presents. So a great big massive thank you to everyone!

He’s such a cutie. Glad he’s enjoying the play dough so much – it’s one of our all time favourites, even now B is nearly 8. Thanks for sharing with the Play Academy.
