The Sock Fairy If Only!

Now I know that we have all experienced the sock fairy. You know the one where you put a pair of socks in the wash and only one comes out. You are then left with that drawer of single socks that you can never find the other one too.

Well are experiencing an altogether different fairy in our house at the moment. She is cruel and she is mean.

I have a resident spoon, fork and bowl thieving fairy.

Let me explain!

When we moved into this house a couple of years ago we had eight bowls, and two sets of knives, forks and spoons, teaspoons and desert spoons resulting in sixteen of each. I admit I have broken one bowl I would like to repeat that again one bowl leaving me seven that is all.

For the last few weeks I have been thinking that we have been running low on supplies in the kitchen. But have been reassured by Mr L it is just me and that its not as bad as I have been saying.

This past week I have winter cleaned the house from top to bottom. Getting over Baba’s birthday and making space for Christmas and the evidence is plain for everyone to see.

We have a massive five bowls, five forks and two teaspoons.

Where the hell have they gone?

So this is a plea to the kitchen cutlery and crockery fairy please give my things back. You are a cruel twisted fairy that obviously gets enjoyment out of me washing up. I now have to do it after every meal do you know how much pain that causes me? If you want these things then take Baba’s plastic ones we don’t need them anymore not the adult ones! Or even better move out completely and bring back the sock fairy that does not bother me I can find a use for the sock less pairs Tito the dog has great fun using them as toys. Just give me my forks, spoons and bowls back.

Please!
