101 Things In 1001 Days 18 Things Done

For those of you that follow this post regularly you will remember my 101 Things in 1001 Days List

Now don’t worry I have not forgotten about it at all. I am still plodding along with it but a lot of the items on the list are really long projects but I will get there, I am determined.

I have until December the 12th 2012 so it is fine still two more years yet, so in each year I need to do roughly forty items off the list. Now I think that is easily achievable so I am not worried at all.

So I have completed three more on my list! Woo Hoo!

19) Enrol Baba into Nursery. Baba now goes to pre-school every Friday morning from 9.15 to 12.30 he is in the Green group at his school and he loves it. He has been going for two weeks and goes with his little cousin, so far he has told us that he has been dancing, and painting, and drawing, a cow, tractor and plane. I don’t know whether that is true or not. But he seems to think that it is fantastic there. I love it as well, Mr L hasn’t yet seen it but the staff all seem lovely, and it is in a little village near us and he just seems so happy there. He was ready to go, but there will be more posted on this soon.

22) Wean Baba off the dummy by Christmas 2010. I can not believe I am writing this, but the dummy and muslin are gone and have been for a couple of weeks now. The day after Baba’s first day at pre-school he didn’t get up with his dummy, he didn’t ask for it all day. So Mr L and I didn’t show it to him, he went to sleep ok at night without it and that was that. It hasn’t been back since. There has been a couple of times he has mentioned it, but we have just told him that he is a big boy now, and that has been it. He has forgotten all about it. So yeah for him I am so proud of him, a little sad that he is no longer a boy, but still so proud, bless him!

24) Take Baba on a train. When we went on holiday we went on a steam train with Baba and he loved it. The train looked very similar to the Harry Potter train, and Baba just thought it was a huge magical mystery tour. It was great to watch him on it and to see him gazing out the window and laughing at everything whizzing past. It was something that we will be doing again.

So there are some more of the list, 18 done and dusted! I am still working on lots of them though. Ones that are going to take a long time to finish, but I will get there and will be writing them down as I finish them.
