Play School

So Baba has started pre-school. He started three weeks ago and it was a thing that I was very anxious about.

But really did not need to be. He was ready Mr L and I had been saying that he was ready for a long time. But I had been secretly been putting it off.

Luckily my cousin pushed me into it, and I am so glad that she did.

I was nervous and there was a part of me that was very sad about the idea of Baba going to pre-school. He was no longer a boy. He was now entering the age of toddler hood and I hated everything about this. On his first morning I actually felt sick and really didn’t want to take him.

But we got dressed anyway. We walked in and I was planning on speaking to the teachers there and letting Baba play, and then taking him home. Giving him a taster session first. Well Baba had other ideas.

While I was talking to the teacher about his convulsions and rigours and explaining the treatment and symptoms for both of them Baba started playing. He was so involved that by the time I had finished the teacher said that she felt it was fine to leave him till the end of the morning. But they would call if there was a problem. That was that.

My little baby became a little independent toddler in a few minutes flat.

I didn’t really know what to do that week I came home and just sat around watching the clock waiting till 12.30 it was hard. I really didn’t know what to do.

Baba came home full of life. Telling everyone he had been to school and had been dancing. He loved every minute of it.

I thought that we may have had just a lucky week. But no my little man loves pre school. He has run in every week since and is preparing for his school Christmas nativity where he is a cow! I say shaking my head thinking of the costume I have to make!!! We have a list of songs that we have to practice with him and I for one can not wait to go and see him in it. I think I may even shed a tear or two.

So here is my question to you do any of you have any great cow costumes for two year olds?
