The Gallery – Favourite Photo

This week the theme over at The Gallery is your Favourite Photo! Now I have already used this picture before for The Gallery – One Day In August Sunday 29th but I wanted to use it again as it is my favourite and there is a story behind it!

The Gallery – Here Come The Girls

So this week the theme at The Gallery is Here Come The Girls. Now I thought that this would be easy!

I was wrong very wrong, a lot of the pictures I have of me and my girl mates can not be put online for the whole world to see, so it was a little tougher than I thought but I managed to find a couple, with some of my oldest friends in. All taken before we got sensible, got married and had children. When we young, free, not single and a little bit crazier. I think we still are all these things, but we have to meticulously plan the event to every detail now, rather than just drop and go!

So Here Come The Girls And Then All I Thought About You style! More

The Gallery – Food!

I am a very fussy eater. I don’t eat a lot quantity wise and what I eat I am very particular about. I will only eat one type of sausages for instance, bacon has to be done in a certain way things like that.

I am not a person who eats because they love food, I am a person that eats because I know I have to, to survive.

Mr L is the absolute opposite, he lives for a good meal, and always has that great satisfaction feeling after eating a good meal!

So when Baba was born I was praying that he would be more like Mr L than me, and I was not disappointed. He loves his food, and loves all food. He eats a good diet and tries pretty much everything you put in front of him. Which is great.

The Gallery – Smile

I can be crying

And you make me smile

I can be grumpy

And you can make me smile

I can be mad

And you can make me smile

I can be happy More

The Gallery – Back To School

I wasn’t going to take part in The Gallery this week as I don’t have a school aged child and Mum has all my school photos …

Then I remembered this! More

The Gallery – Proudest Picture

You flutter, and fly

Never stopping for a moment.

He runs around trying to see you

Screaming with delight

He thinks you are beautiful

But you don’t stay still long enough to be seen! More

I used to work in an Autistic school! More

The Gallery – Playtime

I haven’t done the gallery for a while now but really wanted to do this one.

Baba loves to play and will find the most unusual things to play with running around the house, going manic over a wooden spoon! Bless him. But it is the really simple things he enjoys the most…

Drawing, this boy can spend hours drawing, he loves it. He will usually find any equipment he needs by himself and will sit wherever he is and draw. Doesn’t matter if he is in the way he doesn’t care! More

The Gallery – Holidays

A long time ago, when we were smaller, had no commitments, no children, no baby fat, no dog, no massive mortgage to pay. Mr L and I went away.

Off we went to Egypt. It was lovely. One of the best holidays I have ever had! (If you don’t include the booze fest of 18-30’s holiday with four of my bestest friends at 18 years of age! I would have put pictures up of that holiday, however, they are either too rude I can’t remember why or where they were taken or I look frightfully hung over!) So instead you are getting the more subdued but highly lovely romantic holiday of Mr L and I. Actually the only foreign holiday we have ever been on! More

The Gallery And Writing Workshop – Emotions

I have always been an emotional person, but having a child has made me even more emotional. I now cry at Eastenders and wedding shows, which I never used to do! I get angry quicker but I also have sudden huge overpowering feelings of pride that overcome me just out of the blue.
