Dear So And So… Animals, Lessons and Cunning Plans

Dear Tito,

Now I love you dearly, but I am really getting to the end of my tether! Why have you stopped scratching to let us know that you want to go out for a wee. We can’t see the back door, so we don’t know you are standing there, will you please go back to scratching like you used to. As I am fed up with the accidents in the hallway. You need to make a noise! You’re a dog bark for goodness sake!

Night Times!

I have a little issue, that I know my not seem an issue but it is slightly bugging me.

Over Christmas Baba got a brand new bed, not a toddler bed, but a proper full size single bed, and he loves it. As we were getting a new bed we knew that his Auntie was buying him a train table so rearranged all of his room so that finally some toys could go up there, due to my lounge looking like an extra from the ELC shop!

As soon as he saw the room he loved it, he actually shouted ‘WOW’ when he first saw it. We knew it was the right thing and that it was a hit from the beginning. More

Dear So And So…

Dear Mr L,

Now I know that you think your time off is time to relax, and yes I know that you do building work everyday of your working life. I also know that you have Hypermobility and ache and are tired. But please do understand that we own this god damn house, we brought it knowing that things needed to be done to it. So having two weeks off and doing nothing is just not good enough. More

Strange Goings On In The Night

We have had a few restless nights with Baba recently, he has always been a fantastic sleeping. Going to bed easily and sleeping all the way through from roughly 3 months old. However the last few weeks we have had really restless nights, he has been getting up every night about 2am and either sleeping in bed with us or one of us going and sleeping on his bedroom floor.

However over the past few nights he has been really strange! More

The Last Day…

It has been a strange year, one that has sometimes flowed and one that has sometimes been incredibly hard but one that has been filled with excitement and joy.

It started so well and we were looking for new things for 2010 these were quickly dashed when Baba went down hill and was very poorly for a good month or so. We spent numerous days in hospital, all in a month-long period. He had another convulsion, he had his first rigor. He had tonsilitis, sickness, ear infection, throat infection, and croup. We were given penicillin, he was allergic, a nebulizer, and antibiotics all to be told that he had tonsilitis for a whole month. We saw the ambulance men more in the month of february to march than ever before. It was tiring, stressful, scary and a really hard work. But more than anyone hard work for little Baba. He fought a lot in that month, but came out the other side! More

Really, Seriously!

Now firstly an apology this is not a ‘yeah it’s Christmas’ post, far from it. This is a really god damn it post!

In the past seven days three of my immediate family have been in hospital. All three have come out with serious things to be done or diagnosis.

They say things come in threes don’t they.

Firstly my dad has to have an operation on his shoulder. But it may not work there are three reasons it may not work if that happens he will need a new shoulder. That is happening the beginning of next year. More
