Just before Christmas I received this lovely parcel in the post from Emma over at Adventures Of An English Mum. We had both participated in the Secret Santa that Second Time Mummy was running. More
How one little man can change your whole world. The cries, laughs, shouts and screams and then the cuddles make it ALL worthwhile!!

I may not be here for a while!
Our house is upside down inside out and generally all the wrong way round. Everything is in the wrong place. Nothing has a home and we have a thousand and one extra toys to find a place for.
Yes that is right people I am sorting, cleaning, tidying and rehoming.
It has taken me two days to do two rooms! I am going to be gone for a while I shall see you all soon, organised and refreshed. I hope not to be too long.

So it’s seven days till Christmas and I am a little scared now.
I still have to get Mr L’s present and four presents from Baba. I need to make an album and its a big album. Print off nearly 80 pictures after I have finished editing them and finish some knitting.
We have no clothes the bathroom is full of clothes to wash the ironing pile is falling over. I think that I am washing some things that are clean but I am not too sure so I had better wash them. More

Some cards still need to be written only work ones mind! I have to make the family cards and now I have got some knitting added to the equation so not too much to do!
Oh and no wrapping or starting the industrial task of putting toys together has started. That is at least two days taken up there so that leaves me nine days to do everything else! Not much time then! More

Yesterday Baba and I did some painting for the first time on our own. We did try months and months ago, but he hated every minute. So we left it, but I thought it was about time that we tried it again. I got out the finger paints and some picture frames, as we are in the throes of getting things ready for presents for Christmas time, and showed Baba what I was doing…

Baba is now 15 months old, and 15 months later I am still crying the weight that I gained when I was pregnant with him. I stood on the scales today and I still need to lose the 4 stone that I put on when pregnant. Which is an almighty challenge. Especially as I am not a person that likes to eat, I am one of these people who eats because I know I have to eat, I would never eat and eat because I love the food. I like the food, but I would never eat too much of it. So why do I have so much weight to lose? Well there is one major flaw in my eating I love chocolate, it is the only food that I love, and I can eat it all day long. Which is the main problem for me to lose weight. More

Tell me about something you miss
– Inspired by Tara’s beautiful post in which she laments over time moving too fast: “The one where I learn to appreciate the little things”.
I have never done this before but lets hope that I do ok, but I thought that if I was going to do it I may as well do it now, otherwise I will just read and not take part.
