Yesterday And Today Class

Now as you all know I am a devote Scrapbooker and love all things that are associated with this! I love learning new techniques and learning how to different things within this area of my life. So you can imagine how excited I got when I saw this magical course over at Ali Edwards blog.

This is a fantastic course that I am so excited to be part off. It is a 13 week course that focuses on you telling stories from your past, comparing stories from past and future and telling stories from now. It looks at the why, how, and the what if of telling stories, and is a class that can be used with old photos as well as new! The main focus of the class is to help you meaningfully document and celebrate life by looking to the past before dealing with the present. More

Distant

So it’s 11 days till Christmas and I have a few things to do. I need to edit some pictures, make some albums, edit some films make some nice films with music you know the stuff. Some cards still need to be written only work ones mind! I have to make the family cards and now I have got some knitting added to the equation so not too much to do!

Oh and no wrapping or starting the industrial task of putting toys together has started. That is at least two days taken up there so that leaves me nine days to do everything else! Not much time then! More

Those First Few Moments!

When I found out I was pregnant with Baba I knew that I would be one of those mothers that had to record absolutely every moment in his life.

I was not wrong, we have thousands, and I am not lying there of pictures of him. We have home-made films, scrapbooks, professional photos, photos in frames round the whole house. You name it we have it.

In the past two years we have taken so many pictures and a day has never gone by without a camera very near someone in the house! I have just never wanted to miss a thing! More

Birthday Presents and Cards

So yesterday was Mr L’s mums birthday and I had a task on my hands. After he walked around the shops on Saturday and decided that he didn’t like anything that was for sale he asked me to make her an album. Great if you generally have  a bit longer than 48 hours.

Even worse when those 48 hours are reduced to 24 hours,  because the Sunday you are supposed to be getting the photos, you forget to take the disc with the pictures on out with you! More

More hours!

We are very busy at the moment, running from here to there and everywhere. Baba has a lot of friends that are at school, so even though he is not at school age, the summer holidays are manic for us!  He has so many play dates over the next few weeks that our diary is packed.

If that is not enough Avon is preparing for Christmas and I am manic with that, booking parties, and signing people up. I am also constantly trying to make things for the website, and then just a little studying in between! So not too much happening in our lives.

We currently need another twenty odd hours in a week to fit everything in. More

New Adventures

A little while ago, I wrote this post, Boredom – New Things! Polls and Prizes to get everyone’s opinions on my crafts that I do.

I had been having an internal debate with myself about whether I should start selling them, and had kept on at Mr L about it. He eventually got fed up with it all I think as I had asked his opinion so many times, and he kept telling me the same thing. So I decided to open it up to the floor and see what everyone thought! Just Blah!

I have so many things that I want to do and so many things that I want to write. But the words and the motivation to move just don’t seem to want to come out.

I am stuck!

I want to do the office sort the paperwork! Take photos, and walk, walk the dog, and generally be free. I want to write I have so many things to write about, CyberMummy, yes I am going, woo hoo!!! Father’s Day, Hayling Island, and all the great things that Baba has started to do! I want to knit, I want to scrapbook, I want to sleep. I want to watch movies, I want to spend time with Mr L I just want to be and relax!

But nothing is happening, and nothing is getting done. I just feel pants. More

Time for Me and 101 Things

Today I have been really busy!

Baba went to my mums, and after I finished my work related things, I decided to carry on with the sorting of the house.

I finished my art cupboard, and it is so organised now, I am so pleased. I can finally see things, and I know what I have and don’t have. I did not realise that I had so much paper, which is great as I can now get on with my scrapbooking and being arty.

I love doing all art projects and always have, but came to a bit of a standstill when Baba was about 6 months. Since then I haven’t really picked anything up. It has been lurking in the cupboard and I think that I have actually been a bit scared of it. But no more! More
