Today I have been really busy!
Baba went to my mums, and after I finished my work related things, I decided to carry on with the sorting of the house.
I finished my art cupboard, and it is so organised now, I am so pleased. I can finally see things, and I know what I have and don’t have. I did not realise that I had so much paper, which is great as I can now get on with my scrapbooking and being arty.
I love doing all art projects and always have, but came to a bit of a standstill when Baba was about 6 months. Since then I haven’t really picked anything up. It has been lurking in the cupboard and I think that I have actually been a bit scared of it. But no more!
I have found all the items that I kept from Baba’s christening so that is the next album that I am going to start. I have also got a couple of others, that I want to complete, but the bug has come back. How quickly things change, not long after I finished the cupboard. I got an email inviting me to a scrapbooking day, karma I think. So I am all booked in for that and I can’t wait. Seven hours of total bliss. Just time to scrapbook. I can’t wait!
I have also sorted out all of my knitting stuff, and quilting items. I haven’t done either of these for years, so I am going to have to look back into the techniques before I really get going. I am hoping that it is like riding a bike and that I will just pick them all up again. Hopefully that will happen!
I can’t wait to get back into all my arts and crafts. But even more important than that, I finally have a space to write. A little space in my kitchen, a nice clean bureaux that is no longer cluttered. But it is still a space and it is my space.
The bureaux sits underneath all of Baba’s paintings that are on the wall. So whenever I get stuck I can sit there and look at them for a bit of inspiration. So number 67) Create a writing space in the house on my 101 Things in 1001 Days List has been completed number five, and I am so pleased! I am getting there you know.
So tomorrow I have another busy day planned. Clean the upstairs of the house, iron, sort paperwork, then work. Then the evening is just me time! How nice is it to say that!

Well done on the decluttering. I am lacking in motivation at the moment. So hard

Do you know I was so unmotivated, it was impossible to do anything. But I suddenly woke up one morning and thought right enough. So the advantage of working from home, I am utilizing it while it lasts and have stopped working this week, so that it can all be finished. But we have got rid of so much rubbish as the house was full. You will get it back I am sure!
