Today I made roast dinner, nothing special something that I do regularly in our house, it was chicken still not special. In fact it was;
Chicken.
Roasted Potatoes.
Roasted Parsnips.
Roasted Carrots, roasted with garlic cloves, and an orange cut in half and squeezed over them!
Yorkshire Puddings.
Peas.
Bread Sauce .
Gravy.
Really nothing special.
Except today I had this little man helping…

(C) 2010 And Then All I Thought About Was You
This was the first time Baba has ever helped with cooking. I was in the kitchen preparing everything when a little voice piped up,
“Mummy me help, me help”
How could I refuse that, we brought this special knife that you can not cut your hands with for this moment. So he helped cut some carrots for me. Once we had finished the veg he wanted to continue, hence the mushrooms!
This was a lovely experience and one that I hope we will continue lots in the future!
